As part of Australian Pollinator Week 2023, the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium will be hosting a series of interactive and hands on learning experiences for primary aged students in the beautiful Adelaide Botanic Garden on Friday 17 November 2023 from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
This day will be highly educational, engaging and thought-provoking day for your students.

Students will:
Discover some of Australia's native bees, a look at pollination in your pantry and how to cross pollinate.
Search for the birds that call the Gardens home and the spectacular species that rely on them for pollination.
Explore different plants through the Adelaide Botanic Garden and students will engage in some citizen science by conducting a Pollinator Count.
Inspect pollen and seeds under a microscope to learn about their unique shapes and how they travel.
