Description

Come along on Saturday 14 November from 10am – 3pm and use recycled and natural materials to make your own small native bee hotel that can provide nesting sites for wild native bees such as Resin bees, Masked bees and Reed bees (not honey producing bees). Learn more about the amazing diversity of wild native bees in the Illawarra while you create a small native bee hotel you can take home and place in your garden.

This workshop is free for residents living in the Shellharbour council area. A $40 fee applies for non-Shellharbour residents.

You must wear enclosed protective shoes to The Tinkerage. Please BYO gardening gloves, secateurs, ear protection and safety glasses. Feel free to bring along lunch/drink too. Participants must be over 16 years old.

Places are strictly limited, and bookings for the Tinkerage workshops can be made by emailing tinkerage@resourcerecovery.org.au, phoning the Revolve Shop on 42375193, or in person at the Revolve Shop or The Tinkerage at 44 Buckleys Road Dunmore.
